Rhythm and Roots

Last weekend was the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Festival. I had a great time. Some of you were there as well. Tell us what you liked best about the festival.

My favorite groups were the Carolina Chocolate Drops and the WYIOS, but I heard a lot of other groups I enjoyed. I like Celtic music so I enjoyed a group called Sigean (she-gun). Celtic Air and Fire in the Kitchen are also great groups. Unfortunately, there were a lot of groups I didn't get to hear, so tell me which groups you liked. Maybe next year I'll get to hear them.

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great summer. This is going to be a great year with lots of new things to learn.

Do you know what a "blog" is? Well.......this is a blog. This is a place where you can share what you are interested in with your friends. You can ask questions about music, composers, instruments, etc. You can tell us about the kind of music you like, concerts you attend, music web sites that you have found that are good, etc.

I finished my class on creating a blog and podcasting. It was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of our group.
